Scope and purpose

This policy describes the Kenzam iOS app and the account service it shares with kenzam.com. Kenzam helps you discover products and compare store prices in Iraq. You can browse without an account. Purchases, payments, delivery and returns are handled by the store you visit, under that store's policies.

Your account

When you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive a provider-specific identifier and the name and email the provider makes available. Apple may provide a private relay email. We use this information to create and secure your account, maintain sessions and associate price alerts with you. We do not receive your Apple or Google password. Accounts using different sign-in methods are not automatically linked by email.

Browsing and photo search

The app sends search terms and product requests to our service to return results. For Lens, only the photo you choose or take is sent for image matching; the app does not upload your photo library. The app re-encodes the selected image before upload. Our app photo bridge normally removes its temporary image when the search request ends; expired links stop serving it after two minutes. Image-search processing may cache derived image features or results. Avoid uploading private documents or photos of people. The website's upload flow is separate and may retain uploaded images; this app policy does not promise automatic deletion of website uploads.

Saved products and price alerts

Wish lists and recent search history are stored on this device, not synced between devices. Signed-in price alerts are stored on our servers with the selected product, price baseline, drop percentage, status and alert history. When you enable notifications, Apple APNs and Google Firebase Cloud Messaging process device-registration information to support delivery. Our price-alert service stores an encrypted device token linked to your account and session. You can manage alerts in Alerts and notification permission in iOS Settings.

Optional analytics

Help improve Kenzam is off by default. If you enable it, Google Firebase Analytics receives app-instance identifiers, basic device information and app usage events such as product views, search result counts, saved products and alert percentages. We do not include your name, email, account ID, search text or photos in these analytics events. Advertising tracking is disabled. Turning analytics off stops future optional analytics collection and resets local analytics identifiers; it does not itself erase previously processed analytics from Google's systems.

Service providers and security

We use hosting, storage, image-search, Apple and Google services to operate Kenzam. Network requests expose information such as IP address and technical request details to the services receiving them. Infrastructure may keep operational logs for security and troubleshooting. Providers may process data outside Iraq under their own privacy terms. Account credentials are sent only to Kenzam's HTTPS account service; sessions are stored in iOS Keychain and as hashes on the server. No system is perfectly secure. Store websites you open have separate privacy practices.

Deletion, retention and your choices

In Account → Privacy & analytics → Delete account, you can permanently delete the current Kenzam account after confirming your identity. This removes its profile, provider identity, sessions, price alerts, alert history and push-device bindings from the active account database, and clears this device's wish list and recent searches. Apple authorization is revoked for Apple accounts. This does not delete Apple or Google accounts, store records, other separately registered Kenzam accounts or local data on other devices. Previously sent notifications may still arrive. Server backups, security logs and previously processed analytics are separate from active account records and may remain under their applicable retention processes. Contact us for privacy questions or requests concerning these records. You can use the app without signing in, decline optional analytics, and control camera and notification permissions in iOS Settings.
